Ymittos to the South & Parnitha to the North stare at each other across the valley of Athens. Each has its own character, its own beauty and own climate.

Both mountains have suffered from fires and building as Athens expands - however they remain full of beauty and surprises for those who know where to look....

This site aims to record as many of the enormous number of species of flowering plants as possible along with animals, birds and other wildlife - while they are still here!
